Indemat is betting on high technology and expanding its capacity with a new water cutting machine

Indemat has recently incorporated a new Omax water cutting machine, which allows cutting in 5 axes, fully programmable. It has the capability to process 3D files such as Solidworks, Catia, and Tebis, among others.

The water jet cutting process is an industrial machining process capable of precisely cutting any type of material without altering its properties. With this new machine, Indemat increases production capacity and efficiency in the process. It can cut various materials, including:

  • Wood
  • Metal
  • Composite
  • Glass
  • Foams

The new machine works with a tolerance of +- 0.076 mm and cuts thicknesses of up to 300 mm. With dimensions of 6,200×3,000mm, the machine includes the option of expanding in the X-axis.

At Indemat, in addition to using the Omax water jet cutting system for our manufacturing processes, we cut pieces on demand for our customers. We offer the option to use either the customer’s material or our own.

Indemat renews the registration of its carbon footprint

Indemat obtains the ‘Calculation’ Seal from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition by registering its carbon footprint with the Spanish Office of Climate Change.

Indemat S.L., the research and development materials company located in Villavaquerín (Valladolid), has recently obtained the seal certifying its environmental commitment to calculate, reduce, and offset its carbon footprint. The Ministry for the Ecological Transition is responsible for delivering this certification, highlighting companies’ responsibility towards the environment.

The Carbon Footprint Seal consists of three sections – Calculation, Reduction, and Compensation. Each section certifies the level of commitment of Spanish organizations in the fight against climate change. In addition to obtaining the first Calculation section, Indemat is awaiting the seal certifying its commitment to reducing the carbon footprint (Reduzco), the second section of the certification. The company is also on track to certify the Compensation section. This would represent accreditation for all three sections, guaranteeing maximum efforts in environmental preservation.

Gender-based violence can and should be prevented

Gender-based violence is a serious social problem that affects millions of women worldwide. It is crucial to recognize that prevention is fundamental, and we all must play an active role in eradicating this form of violence. At INDEMAT, S.L., we join in commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, reaffirming our unanimous and steadfast rejection of any manifestation of gender-based violence.

Creating awareness about the importance of supporting and believing women who have been victims of violence is essential. In this regard, we should not excuse or tolerate perpetrators but rather promote responsibility and accountability. Justifying or trivializing such behavior is unacceptable.

A crucial aspect of combating gender-based violence is education and awareness. We must not allow jokes or comments that downplay the seriousness of this issue. A culture of respect and equality should prevail in all spheres of society.

Taking action means more than just condemning violence; it involves listening and providing support to victims. At INDEMAT, S.L., we are committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment where victims feel supported and empowered to seek help.

On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we reaffirm our social responsibility and commitment to building a society free from gender-based violence. We invite everyone to join this cause, working together to create a world where equality, respect, and solidarity are the fundamental pillars of our coexistence.
